Assessment for this qualification includes written essays, a portfolio of teaching evidence, and observed teaching or training sessions. • All learners must have access to 250 hours of teaching in total, across 2 locations with 150 teaching and 20 hours of non-teaching practice.
• Students must be able to demonstrate skills in numeracy and literacy at a Level 2 standard
• You must be in-service or delivering sessions voluntarily – you will be observed in your workplace setting
• Good reading and writing skills in English
• Learners should be qualified/experienced in the subject they intend to teach.
• Learners must have access to a qualified observer. This is someone who holds this qualification or an equivalent or higher
• Learners are required to supply a DBS certificate.
