Hello Nadia The level 4 Education and Training and the Level 5 have 2 units in common which allows candidates via Recognition of prior learning (APL/RPL) to miss out those units. Sadly with the Level 3 (PTLLS) the qualification is mapped as Level 3 on the QCF (OFQUAL) and therefore cannot be used in lieu of any of the L5 units. The advantage that you will have is that you will have a refined understanding of pedagogy beforehand and this will be advantageous throughout the course. Thanks

Hello APL is for any study that you have previously completed at the same level in the same subject i.e L4 CET has 2 units that can be evidenced against the L5. APL is determined via a form that will be completed and reviewed. Previous teaching - within 3 months of starting the course can be used as evidence towards the required 100 hours.
