Assessment for this qualification is carried out through a mix of written essays, a portfolio of teaching evidence, and observed teaching or training sessions. All course units, assignments, and learning materials are available via our online learning platform, which students can access for 6 months and study at their own pace. As part of the practical assessment, learners will be observed delivering a minimum of 8 teaching sessions (each lasting at least one hour). These sessions can cover any topic, ideally within the learner’s area of specialism

• All learners must have access to 100 hours of teaching and must be in-service/ delivering sessions voluntarily.
