Course Overview
The Level 4 Certificate in Massage Therapy for Sports Qualification from Diverse Trainers will provide our students with additional manual techniques, in-depth subjective and objective assessments, and treatment to support injury rehabilitation. By the end of the course, you will have a full understanding of the following topics:
- Understand the different types of assessments for sports massage treatments
- Understand how information from the assessments influence the sports massage treatment plan

- Be able to perform a subjective and objective assessment
- Be able to devise a sports massage treatment plan

Course Content
The course itself is made up of 3 units, offering both a practical and theory-based learning opportunity. Our tutors have over 20 years of industry experience, giving all our students the opportunity to learn from their knowledge and experience.

Learning Options
Face-to-Face: (Most Popular Option) Has been designed for students who want the flexibility to study in their own time and want face-to-face instruction at a chosen location local to them. The qualification is assessed by completing a coursework portfolio and a face-to-face practical assessment. Once you have completed your coursework using our interactive E-learning platform you will be invited to attend a practical weekend. A qualified Level 4 sports massage tutor will then teach you all the skills, techniques, and applications to enable you to practice sports massage therapy. You will complete your practical assessment on the same weekend.
Online Distance Learning: This has been designed for students who want the flexibility to study in their own time, you can qualify in as little as 8 weeks. The qualification is assessed by completing a coursework portfolio and practical video assessments. The coursework portfolio is completed using our interactive e-learning platform. The practical assessment is completed by attending 16 hours of live virtual teaching delivered via zoom with a qualified Level 4 sports massage tutor. You would then be required to submit a video of your practical assessment.
Course Duration & Assessment
The Level 4 Certificate in Massage Therapy for Sports is assessed using online theory-based learning, you will complete a coursework portfolio and a case study. Your practical assessment is assessed by completing a face-to-face or video assessment dependant on the learning option you choose.
You can qualify in just 8-12 weeks by choosing our fast-track learning option. You will receive 2 years to complete your qualification.
