This qualification is assessed through Written Assignments & Work Product Evidence. Templates and learning resources are available on our portal. Certificates are issued by the awarding organisation after successful IQA&EQA, ensuring evidence/assessment decisions meet VARCS principles: Validity, Authenticity, Reliability, Currency, and Sufficiency.
Description
This practical qualification comprises two essential units that combine theoretical knowledge and workplace application:
- Unit 1: Understanding the Principles and Practices of External Quality Assurance – Covers the key concepts, regulations, legal requirements, and best practices of EQA. Learners explore how to plan and carry out external quality assurance, evaluate assessment and IQA decisions, and ensure compliance with awarding organisation standards.
- Unit 2: Externally Assure the Quality of Assessment – A performance-based unit that requires real-world evidence of conducting EQA activities. Candidates must complete two centre visits (physical or remote), submit two EQA reports bearing their name, and demonstrate effective sampling, communication with centres, and decision-making.
At HHF Training, we support learners through:
- Online Learning Portal: 24/7 access to materials, templates, and resources.
- Qualified EQA Tutors: Receive personalised guidance from experienced EQAs.
- Clear Evidence Requirements: Guidance in preparing reports, emails, and observation records.
- Fast Marking: Assignments marked within 48 hours.
- Accredited Certification: Issued by an OFQUAL-regulated awarding body and recognised globally.
This award equips you with the skills, confidence, and qualification to operate as an EQA in a range of industries and awarding contexts.
