Course Introduction:
The Level 3: Award in Education and Training (AET) Course, or the PTLLS Course, is your gateway to a rewarding career in further education. This course aligns with the standards set by the Further Education National Training Organisation (FENTO) and the Employment National Training Organisation (EMPNTO), equipping you with the essential knowledge and skills to teach adults confidently and effectively.

Face-to-Face or Live Zoom classes:
Our Level 3: AET Course and PTLLS Course offer a dynamic and interactive learning experience through 3-day face-to-face or Live Zoom sessions from 10am to 5pm. With over 35 venues across the UK, including all major cities, you can choose the most convenient location for you.

The course is led by experienced instructors who use a variety of teaching methods to make learning engaging and effective. Expect a mix of lectures, group discussions, demonstrations, peer presentations, and other activities designed to enhance your understanding.

One of the highlights of the course is micro-teaching – on the final day, you’ll get the chance to plan and deliver a short lesson to your peers, gaining valuable teaching experience in a supportive environment.

Online / Distance Learning Course:
The Level 3: AET Course (formerly PTLLS) is available through our flexible online learning platform, offering full tutor support every step of the way. This is a fantastic option for anyone looking to earn their qualification using Online / Distance Learning, allowing you to study anytime, anywhere, at your own pace. Once you enroll, you'll get full access to the Online Portal to begin your studies.

You’ll have up to 16 weeks to complete your coursework, but if you finish early and meet the required standard, your certificate will be awarded ahead of schedule—many learners finish within just 2-3 weeks, depending on their schedule and lifestyle.

As part of the course, you’ll need to complete a Micro Teach session, lasting 15-30 minutes, in front of two observers (these can be your peers). You can choose any topic for your session, which should be recorded either face-to-face or via Teams/Zoom (or another platform), then submitted with your coursework for assessment.

Onsite/In-House Training:

Course Assessment:
Instead of a big exam, you'll put together a collection of your work, called a portfolio. You can send it to us easily by email, upload it to your online account, or even mail it to our main office. Once we receive your portfolio, we'll get your results and certificate to you within about 7 to 8 days.

Just a friendly reminder: Apart from the initial fee, at the time of submitting the assignment, you are required to pay an additional fee of £183.00 for the assessment of your coursework and the certificate to be issued.

This course is for current or aspiring teachers, trainers, and tutors in diverse settings like colleges, adult education, beauty, private training, charities, businesses, public services, healthcare, fitness, driving instruction, and many more sectors requiring adult education.

Learners should be aged 19 or over to undertake the qualification. No other eligibility requirement applies.
