Description

What will you learn in this Level 3 Cosmetics and Makeup Course

Module 1

In this module, you will learn all about What is a Cosmetic. Cosmetics are substances or products used to enhance or alter the appearance or fragrance of the body. Many cosmetics are designed for use of applying to the face and hair.

Module 2

This module will teach you about Cosmetics – From Tradition to Modernity. Cosmetics are products created for skin & hair care for the purpose of cleansing, beautifying and enhancing the attractive features. Skin care is not a modern trend. In fact, people in every civilization used cosmetics to protect and embellish their skin – which naturally leads us to conclude that this is a primordial need.

Module 3

In this module, you will learn all about Skin. Beautiful skin begins with a healthy lifestyle. While heredity may determine how your skin looks, behaves, and ages, you can improve it by taking good care of yourself. Skincare basics include eating the right foods, drinking plenty of water, exercising, getting enough sleep, protecting your skin from the sun, not smoking, and limiting your intake of both caffeine and alcohol.

Module 4

This module will teach you about Face. Some women need between two and four colours that can be mixed and blended to accommodate changes in skin tone under the eye, which can vary with the time of day, amount of rest, and hormones. Sometimes a corrector is enough to solve the under-eye problem. Rules should be followed, but there should be flexibility for what works where. Sometimes something as bold as a bright pink or peach cream blush will work for very intense darkness.

Module 5

In this module, you will learn all about Lips. Applying lip colour is one of the simplest of all makeup steps and is a great way to instantly change a look. Lip colour applications range from simple, blotted-on stains to combinations of a lip pencil, lipstick, and gloss. The right shade works with the skin tone and complements the natural colour of the lips. You can choose from a wide range of product formulas, which include matte, sheer, shimmery, and creamy lipsticks and glosses.

Module 6

This module will teach you about the Eyes. The purpose of eye makeup—whether it’s simple black mascara or dramatic contouring shadow—is to make the eyes stand out. When it’s done right, eye makeup can give the appearance of brighter, more beautiful eyes. Here I cover the basics, like choosing flattering shades and lining the eyes, as well as advanced techniques, like creating a smoky eye and applying false lashes.

Module 7

In this module, you will learn all about Special Makeup Applications. Once you master the basic techniques of makeup, it’s both fun and easy to take it to the next step for a variety of looks. Individual beauty is about knowing what to do with your own unique skin tone and features. And it’s also about being confident enough to break out of your comfort zone.

Module 8

This module will teach you about Essential Equipment for the Professional. A good makeup kit contains all the products and tools you need to do your work. The appearance and organization of your kit are a big part of the first impression you make when you show up for a job. No one wants to work with a makeup artist whose kit is dirty and disorganized.

Module 9

In this module, you will learn all about Advanced Makeup Applications. Every artist needs to learn skills to successfully apply makeup on subjects for photography, fashion shows, film, and television. These opportunities allow an artist to express her or his creativity. There are no limitations when working in advanced artistry.

Module 10

This module will teach you about Makeup Application Women/Girls. Before applying makeup, put a thin layer of moisturizer (age 40+ should use a spackle primer) should use on the skin and allow it to dry. Foundation – Using either the makeup sponge or your fingers, apply crème foundation on the entire face from the hairline to underneath the jawline until you have a unified skin tone.

Module 11

In this module, you will learn all about Makeup Application Guys.

Before applying makeup, put a thin layer of moisturizer on the skin and allow it to dry.

Foundation – Using either the makeup sponge or your fingers, apply crème foundation on the entire face from the hairline to underneath the jawline until you have a unified skin tone.

Module 12

This module will teach you about Cleansing & Hairstyles. CLEANSING – It is absolutely imperative that everyone learns to cleanse their skin properly at the end of each day. The wipes mentioned at the beginning of this note are helpful, but nothing substitutes for a great cold cream rub wiped off with a tissue (to dissolve the makeup) followed by a skin cleanser and warm water

Module 13

In this module, you will learn all about Makeup Basics I. When you buy your makeup kit, make sure to choose something that is known for its quality. This way, you can be assured that you would be able to achieve the kind of effect that you are looking for.

Module 14

This module will teach you about Makeup Basics II. If you are tasked to apply makeup on yourself for a stage play, you should keep in mind that it is entirely different to applying makeup for parties. For a stage play, your makeup should be something that can stand the hot lights, and be visible to people that are seated at the farthest row from the stage. However, you should also control it so that you won’t look like a clown for people seated at the front row.

Module 15

In this module, you will learn all about Pimples and makeup. When you have pimples, using a concealer, especially something that has lighter shade than your skin can effectively hide it. To prevent pimples though, choose makeup items that are gentler on your skin. Such items usually do not contain substances that can clog up your pores and cause pimples.

Module 16

This module will teach you about The best way to start in applying eye makeup. The best way to apply eye makeup is to start with clean skin. What you can do about it is to apply cold compress on your eyes for about 10 minutes. Doing this can actually reduce the puffiness of your eyes. After that, apply a light moisturiser so that the skin around your eyes, won’t get dried up because of the makeup.

Module 17

In this module, you will learn all about The eyeshadow compact. Before making use of your eyeshadow compact, make sure that you have already applied the foundation, or concealer to hide imperfections. If your eyeshadow compact offers you three or four different shades, keep in mind that they are made that way, since you can actually use them together.

Module 18

This module will teach you about moisturizing your lips. Unless your lipstick is made to provide the needed moisture of your lips, you should make use of a lip balm prior to applying colour on them.
