This NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification will provide learners with an understanding of the knowledge needed when working directly with children and young people in school environments. The Certificate is suitable for learners working in senior roles that support pupils’ learning in primary, secondary or special schools.

Method of Assessment:
The learner must achieve 11 mandatory Level 3 units, totalling 32 credits. There are no exemptions, barred combinations or equivalent units. The Certificate requires 32 credits. Credits from the Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools can be carried over and counted towards the Certificate. The Award will be assessed by your Tutor or Assessor using a range of methods. This could include direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task.
Special Note: Apart from the initial fee, a total additional fee of £318 should be paid.
The Break down of the total additional fee of £318 as follows
1. Awarding body registration fee- £119
- You need to pay this when you are submitting your awarding body registration form only
2. All Official assessments and certification fee- £199
- You need to pay this when you are submitting your assessments only (It is not required to pay initially when you are registering). This payment can be paid in installments when you are submitting your assessments.

I have my level 2 and work full time as a t/a. I have no certificates from school but do have my level 2 certificate . Can I still enrol

I begin my placement in September; is this acceptable or is experience required before starting course, also is it advisable to take Level 2 first?
Dear Louise, Thank you for your query. You may start the placement on September and also continue the course. Experience is not required before the start of the course. You are required to have a vocational or academic qualification at Level 2 or higher to get enrolled with the course. Hence it is not mandatory to follow the level 2 course.
