The Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) qualification certifies individuals to evaluate the energy efficiency of residential properties and produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).

In this programme, you will learn to accurately assess the energy performance of domestic dwellings and generate accurate EPCs, which are essential for property sales, rentals, and improvements.

The course provides electronic training materials to help you develop a comprehensive understanding of energy assessments. You will complete a portfolio of assessments to demonstrate your competency and knowledge. Training includes the use of Reduced Data Standard Assessment Procedure (RdSAP) software, crucial for performing accurate energy assessments.

This intensive five-day course is held at our Midlands HQ in Croft, Leicestershire. During this session, candidates will complete the full portfolio.

The qualification is awarded by the Awarding Body for the Built Environment (ABBE), ensuring it meets high standards of quality and relevance.

The Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) Attendance Course is a comprehensive training program designed to provide you with the practical skills and knowledge needed to assess the energy efficiency of residential properties and produce accurate Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). There are no formal entry requirements to sit the ABBE Domestic Energy Assessor qualification. However, please note, candidates must have strong IT skills. This qualification is available for students aged 18+.
