Duration and Delivery
This course is designed to be completed online at the pace that suits you best. The level 3 CAVA course can take as little as 10 days (fast-track) or up to 8 weeks. This level 3 assessor qualification is delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment. Our online 24x7 tutor support is available to help you reach your study goals.
Assessment & Verification
All units within this assessing qualification are internally verified by our qualified assessors and externally verified by the awarding organisation. The assessment takes the form of written assignments and demonstration of assessment skills through video recordings of your assessment of learners, which can be done virtually, detailed guidance for which will be provided by your tutor.
Progression
Successful completion of this 100% accredited online course enables learners to proceed to the Level 4 Certificate in Leading the IQA of Assessment Processes and Practice and the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training. This level 3 assessor (sometimes referred to as TAQA) course will also help you enhance your career profile and become an apprenticeship assessor. This is the most thorough level 3 assessing qualification available and would allow you to assess NVQ, apprenticeship, and all other accredited courses, as well as any other regulated training in your subject area.

Unit 2: Assess occupational competence in the work environment
Unit 3: Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
