This fully remote/online course covers three key units:

• Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment: Learn the core rules and best practices of assessment.
• Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment: Discover how to effectively assess skills directly in a real work setting.
• Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement: Understand how to assess knowledge and skills related to specific vocational areas, often in a classroom or simulated environment.

How You’re Assessed:

There’s no formal exam for the Level 3 CAVA Course. Instead, you’ll build a written portfolio of your work, demonstrating your understanding and application of assessment principles. Once complete, you can send it to us by email or post. Your portfolio will be reviewed and marked within 7–10 days. Once approved, you’ll receive your official Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA)!

Candidates will become a qualified assessor after completion of Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement CAVA Course.

Candidates are required to have access to two learners during Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement CAVA Course.
