About Official Exam, Assessment & Certification

Towards the end of the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) | PTLLS, you will be assessed via assignments that will be internally designed and graded by the course instructors. Once you are ready for the submission of the assignments, you need to pay an additional fee of £189 + VAT to grade your assignment.

Assessment structure assignment

Microteaching Assessment

You will also be required to submit a teaching assessment that is designed to assess you in accordance with the following guidelines:

  • You will be required to record and upload videos of at least 15-minute microteaching sessions that you conducted in a classroom setting. Once you submit your assessments, your teacher will individually review and grade them.
  • This practical assessment will help you demonstrate your skills and knowledge gathered from three units.
  • Additionally, you'll need to provide teaching records and documentation such as lesson plans, learner evaluation, scheme of work, etc, proving you've taught in a classroom.

Certification

Upon successful completion of this Award in Education and Training Level (AET) | PTLLS and passing the internal assessments and practical teaching assessments, you will be awarded the qualification NCFE Level 3 Award in Education and Training, which is valued by all employers in the UK and globally.
