Overview
Qualification
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF)
Description
Once learners enrol, they are issued their login details and welcome email - providing them with access to learning resources, assignments and documentation. For the observation assessment, learners will need to submit documented evidence (using our provided witness statement forms) to the online portal that you will have 24/7 access to. Then a qualified assessor will review the learners work and provide feedback as required. Once all assessments are passed, work is submitted to the awarding body to determine whether the learner is awarded the nationally recognised Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF) (New A1 Assessors Award) qualification.
The three units that all learners must complete to gain this qualification are:
- Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
- Assess occupational competence in the work environment
- Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
Assessment Methods
The qualification will be assessed through a combination of written essays, a portfolio of evidence and observation of occupational competence. All units, assignments and learning materials for the course can be accessed through our online learning platform. Students have 6 months access to the online learning platform where they may study entirely at their own pace. The observations and professional discussions should be completed within a suitable environment and should be carried out by a qualified observer.
