Description
The qualification covers the application of insulation to various surfaces while working safely and efficiently in the workplace, including erecting and dismantling access equipment.
Candidates will be assessed against a set of performance and knowledge statements which have been derived from National Occupational Standards for your occupational area. You will be assessed by an occupationally competent and qualified assessor whose job is to work with you and help you complete your qualification.

Requirements
There are currently no formal entry requirement from this qualification but candidates taking this qualification should have basic ICT skills to complete this assessment

How long does the courses take to complete
Answer:Course duration is largely dependent on the candidate. On the average, it takes about 6 to 8 weeks to complete. It could be a lot less if the candidate is willing to put a little more effort into it.

The qualification if suitable for persons already working the trade in the industry as it is mainly on-site assessment (assessment of what you do normally around your workplace). Answer:Hi, You need to work in thermal insulation in order to be assessed on site. You need to prove your competence and need to have experience working in thermal insulation.
