Overview

This is designed for learners who currently hold
a licence from the Security Industry Authority
(SIA) to work as a door supervisor and need to
be brought up to date with the new licence-linked
qualification requirements.

This is a mandatory requirement to be able to renew a SIA licence.

Description

This is a 2 day course in the classroom with additional Pre-Course Self Study on Counter Terrorism and Security Equipment.

All trainees must hold a current First Aid qualification. Please contact us in advance if you do not already have First Aid and we will arrange.

Topics include:
• terror threats and the role of the
security operative in the event of
a threat
• use of equipment relevant to a door
supervisor
• actions to take in relation to global
• (or critical) incidents
• physical interventions and the
implications of their use
• the risks associated with using physical
intervention
• how to reduce the risks associated
with physical intervention

Anyone wishing to renew their SIA Door Supervisor licence.

Answer:

No, we charge for the two courses separately. As long as your First Aid certificate is valid then you just pay to do the Top-Up training on it's own.
