Learners will however require a placement in a child care setting, the placement is how many hours please and can it be done in a stay&play centre?Thx
The placement will typically need to be around 100 hourse but the time will be determined by how long it takes to gain the arnge of experiences required to collecet evidence of practical skills. The placement can be in any child care facility regulated by Ofsted. This was helpful. Thank you for your feedback.
Loredana Nieli asked:
Hi there, is this course valid to work in primary schools as learning mentor? many thanks in advance. regards
Thank you for your question. The course leads to a nationally recognised qualification, listed by Ofqual and which enables people to work in a supervised capacity with children of all ages. However we would always advise that candidates checjk with their local education authority because each one sets their own requirements for specific posts in nurseries and schools. This was helpful. Thank you for your feedback.
Rebekah Enefer asked:
Will I need a placement for this course? Thank you
This course does require a placement in a nursery or child acre facility because a some of the assessments are based upon building a portfolio of evidence of practical examples from a child care setting. The placement would need to be of around 50 hours duration over the period of the course. This was helpful. Thank you for your feedback.
Is certification included to the price? Is there anything to be paid for as an extra?
The course price includes all notes, folder, tutor support and assignment marking plus certification. Consequently there is nothing else to pay other than postage if you choose to submit assignemts by post rather than email. This was helpful. Thank you for your feedback.
