ILSPA's Legal Secretaries Diploma course can be studied online at home with the advantage of being able to login to our online webinar classes each week. This will give you an interactive experience where you will be taught by a tutor and have contact with other Students.
The webinar classes will take place one evening a week from 6.30pm - 8.30pm, for 14 weeks. There will also be one lunchtime catch up session each week which will be arranged between the tutor and the group you will be studying with. This is an exclusive class with only 10 places available. You do not have to physically attend anywhere as everything can be accessed from home.
Although the class will take place over 14 weeks, you can take up to a year to submit your coursework if you wish. If you want to achieve the qualification within the 14 weeks, that is also doable. It all depends on how much time you put into your studies,
ILSPA's Legal Secretaries Diploma course is equivalent to a Level 3 qualification. You will learn about the day-to-day tasks of a Legal Secretary, various areas of law, the legal profession and how the court system operates. The course also covers legal terminology, legal document production, how to complete legal forms and how to type professional correspondence.

Unit 1: English Legal System
Unit 2: Law of Contract & Law of Tort
Unit 3: Civil Litigation Practice
Unit 4: Land Law & Conveyancing Practice
Unit 5: Wills, Probate & Administration Practice
Unit 6: Family Law & Practice

ILSPA’s Legal Secretaries Diploma is suitable for:
- People with no previous experience in law
- Experienced Legal Secretaries who want to gain a formal qualification
- Law Graduates who want to gain practical skills
There are no entry requirements for the course, however we recommend that you have a good typing speed, computer literacy, an understanding of Microsoft Word, and a good standard of spoken and written English. If you don't have these skills, we advise that you acquire them whilst you are studying.
Legal Secretaries are an essential part of the legal profession and are always in high demand as they help lawyers with their work.
There is great opportunity for career advancement as the more experience gained, the higher salary you can achieve. Legal Secretaries can even progress on to working as Paralegals or Legal Executives with experience and train
