Overview
Lean and Six Sigma are quality improvement methodologies to reduce chronic waste, and product or service failure rates to a negligible level. These methodologies are commonly used together to achieve business and process improvements successfully. Lean Six Sigma is the outcome of combining Lean and Six Sigma. Lean Six Sigma companies typically spend less than five percent of their revenues addressing and repairing quality problems.
The Lean Six Sigma process encompasses all aspects of a business; including management, service delivery, and design, production and customer satisfaction. Lean Six Sigma philosophy drives business culture and requires a nearly flawless execution of key processes, making Lean Six Sigma a high standard for companies and individuals to achieve. By reducing process variation, Lean Six Sigma facilitates organizations to focus clearly on improving process capability. As sigma levels increase, the cost of poor quality decreases and profitability increases.
Lean Six Sigma is associated with the delivery of consistent, world-class quality. Lean Six Sigma training is intensive covering a wide scope. To facilitate learning, our Lean Six Sigma training is presented in 3 modules, each with increasing levels of experience, technicality and competency: Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt.
The Objective of the Yellow Belt Course is intended at an introductory level into Lean Six Sigma. It may also be deemed as a taster to beginners. It gives participants an overview of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, associated terminology, concepts and tools. Learners will be expected to participate in discussions and simulation exercises during the Course. Once you have completed this Course, you will be ready to successfully participate in a Lean Six Sigma team. The Yellow Belt course is normally a foundation course as part of a 5 -day Green Belt Course.
The training programme is due to be held at our Manchester venue, within a lively and spontaneous environment. Nearest station is Manchester Piccadilly Station which is within short walking distance.
