Throughout the two days each technique is applied to a service design simulation to enable delegates to practice and consolidate their learning.
Day 1
- Introduction to Design for Six Sigma
- The requirements for effective design and deployment of new products and services
- DMADV project cycle
- Overview of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and the four Houses of Quality
- Establishing customer requirements.
Day 2
- Functional requirements and design parameters
- Product or service design and selection
- Process design and measures
Who is this course for?
Leading Design for Six Sigma is for Black Belts who want to be able to lead process design as well as process improvement projects.
It is also part of the Master Black Belt programme so gaining this qualification provides one of the building blocks to this certification.
For other improvement experts who want to expand their capability to include process design, this course provides a great introduction to the techniques.
