Description
Assessment
The qualification is assessed through 1 remote exam per unit. These exams will be a combination of scenario-based multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and scenario-based short and long answer questions. Scenario-based MCQs are questions presented in hypothetical situations using a who, what, where, when and why format that tests the required knowledge. This allows for learners to answer the questions by choosing the appropriate responses to the situation.
Exams are conducted through our online learning platform using Safe Exam Browser software, which must be downloaded by the student during their induction process. Students are also required to join a Zoom meeting with an Invigilator who will ensure a fair and authentic assessment process takes place throughout each exam. Each exam is a minimum of two hours in length with a minimum of 100 marks to achieve. Learners need to achieve at least 50% from each exam to achieve a pass. The grading for this qualification is pass/fail.
The nine units that all learners must complete to gain this qualification are:
- Unit 1 – Principles of Accounting and Finance
- Unit 2 – Management Accounting and Financing Needs
- Unit 3 – Advanced Management Accounting
- Unit 4 – Financial Reporting
- Unit 5 – Financial Management
