Description

Description Family dynamics can often be charged with negative emotions. Healthy family relationships are the central pillar that relationships revolve around. In this course, you'll learn many techniques for maintaining strong family relationships. First, you'll learn how to resolve difficult issues that you may have with family members. I teach you how to speak assertively with your family members in order to express your opinions, wants and needs. Confronting a family member is challenging, especially if that family member is an aggressive personality who gets upset easily. You will learn the 4-step process of explaining why you want the change and what you would like to see instead, how to be assertive and still keep the peace. As life experience has shown us, disagreements occur in all loving relationships. If these differences are not resolved in a positive manner, the love gradually erodes. I share with you several techniques to deal with and to resolve these conflicts. All children need to feel love and appreciation, especially from their parents. You will learn a number of tips to encourage a high level of self-confidence in your children to help them be more productive and happier adults. Finally, since our behaviors can break down self-confidence as easily as build it up, you will learn how to encourage self-confidence in the other adults in your family. When everyone has high self-confidence, dealing with each other face to face will be a pleasure. With each section, you will receive at least one exercise to complete in order to incorporate what you've learned into your own life. I suggest that you write the exercises in a notebook to help you work through the principles and skills I'm teaching so you can see where you are and how to apply them to your life and daily interactions with others. All my courses contain guided visualizations and songs throughout. They are downloadable, so you will always have them to enjoy and grow with. My courses are intended to take you on a personal journey to understanding yourself and guiding you on a dynamic path of self-discovery to greater self-esteem and self-confidence. I hope you join me! FAQs

What does study method mean?

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At reed.co.uk courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

What are CPD hours/points?

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on reed.co.uk, many of which can be completed online.

What is a ‘regulated qualification’?

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

What is an ‘endorsed’ course?

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body’s logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as ABC Awards and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
