Description
Jungian therapy, also known as Jungian analysis, is an in-depth, analytical type of therapy intended to bring together the conscious and unconscious components of the mind to assist an individual to feel balanced and complete.
In simpler terms, Jungian treatment requires clients to delve deeply into their minds, including the darker parts, and look at the ‘true’ self rather than the self they present to the outside world.
Discover the psychological approach of Jungian therapy, its aims and objectives and who would benefit from it.
You’ll learn about Carl Jung’s life and work - the contributions he made to psychology, his relationship with Sigmund Freud, and an overview of his concepts and beliefs.
You’ll delve deeper into some of Jung’s key concepts, namely archetypes, the shadow, individuation, synchronicity, and the function of the psyche. You’ll also explore approaches that have been influenced by Jung’s work.
By studying this course, you will:
- Understand Jungian therapy’s aims and objectives and who would benefit from it
- Gain a fundamental knowledge of Jung’s concepts and beliefs
- Learn about Jung’s key concepts
- Become familiar with Jung’s contribution to analytical psychology
Who is this course for?
