  • The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
  • The purpose and benefits of an AIMS
  • A basic knowledge of managing AIMS through risk assessment, risk control, impact assessment and compliance with legal and other requirements
  • A basic awareness of common examples of relevant national and local AIMS legislation and requirements
  • Commonly used AIMS terms and definitions as given in ISO 42001 and ISO 22989
  • Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 42001, which may be gained by completing LRQA's ISO 42001
  • Appreciation and Interpretation course or ISO 42001 Internal Auditor course.

Requirements

  • Pre-coursework should be completed before attending this course.
  • Learners are required to have already successfully completed another lead auditor course before attending this ISO 42001 Lead Auditor Conversion course. As a result, delegates will already be familiar with common practice as a lead auditor. This course focuses directly on ISO 42001, with generic lead auditor activities covered in the pre course materials revisited briefly at the start of the course.
