Overview

Learn to use SketchUp for 3D interior design, architecture and other design work, from the comfort of your own home (or place of work).

When you attend live online training with Armada, you’re participating in a real course, hosted by a real trainer, in real time.

During our Introduction to SketchUp training course; you’ll learn the fundamentals of 3D design, and then go on to cover topics including:

  • Incorporating textures, scenes and styles.
  • Producing visualisations of your designs.

This course has been revamped recently to incorporate the latest AI functionality built into SketchUp. The AI features covered include:

  • Overview of AI-related/generative AI features available in SketchUp
  • Diffusion: AI-assisted imagery
  • Generate Textures: AI-assisted material editing

SketchUp courses are hosted by highly experienced instructors who uses SketchUp in their professional work.

Training is highly practical, combining lecture, demonstration and plenty of assisted practice.

Our approach to live online training

We do everything possible to make your experience as close as possible to actually being in the classroom…

  • You can see and hear our trainer and the other delegates.
  • Our trainer and the other delegates can see you (via your webcam) and hear you.
  • We’ll post you printed training materials, and make the course files and resources available for you to download.
  • Your training is hands-on: you’ll practice and carry out exercises throughout.
  • If you're learning to use an application and don’t have access to the software, we’ll send you a link to fully-functional trial software that you can download and install.
  • If you need assistance, you can share your screen with our trainer, and pass control to them.
  • Should you want to send a private message to your trainer, you can do so using chat.
  • You’ll receive an e-certificate confirming successful course completion.
  • You’re entitled to 30 days’ email support from your trainer.

We also offer this course with classroom attendance at our centres in Birmingham (Bromsgrove), Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Reading, and Sheffield.
