This International GCSE Further Pure Mathematics Edexcel Course provides an opportunity to stretch strong students and enable them to gain an additional mathematics qualification. It extends and deepens knowledge covered in the IGCSE Maths specifications.
This course covers the following content:-

- The quadratic function
- Identities and inequalities
- The binomial series
- Scalar and vector quantities
- Rectangular Cartesian coordinates

There are two externally assessed papers for this course. The specification is offered through a single tier. Questions are targeted at grades in the range of 9-4, with 3 allowed.
Who is this course for?

You do not need any prior learning knowledge or experience to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone who wishes to take part in a highly rewarding home study course, although you would be expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.
This course is usually taken by students who will progress onto the A' Level in Mathematics. This is because the syllabus topics cover elements of the content that can be found in Core/Pure units of the A' Level Maths.
