Description
A lot of crimes are committed on a daily basis. Yet, the most serious ones like genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity receive the most attention not only because of the number of victims involved, but also due to the cruelty that goes into such acts, which is deemed beyond the scope of human capability. In order to bring to justice those who have committed such atrocious crimes and prevent their occurrence, the international criminal law has been instituted and in effect.
The international criminal law is a body of rules and practices that systematically prohibits crimes that are considered as serious atrocities and brings into justice those who have perpetrated such crimes.
