Description
Continue your Mandarin Chinese language learning journey.
Set across 10 modules, each of which is accompanied by an audio version of the module to ensure accurate comprehension, the Intermediate Mandarin Chinese Diploma Course provides practise subsections after each key learning point and multiple-choice assessments to help you to consolidate your learning.
You’ll learn key vocabulary in both simplified characters and hanyu pinyin, concepts and grammatical structures, and phrases that will be useful in everyday scenarios. You’ll learn quickly and efficiently, whilst gaining the confidence to apply intermediate language concepts in your Mandarin Chinese language conversations.
Tailored to learners who have mastered the basic tones, words and phrases of Mandarin Chinese, this course will help you to learn complex sentence structures that will enable you to better express yourself. With an emphasis on practical, everyday language, this course has been specifically designed to introduce intermediate-level grammatical concepts with the use of realistic examples. In addition, the course touches on some of the nuances of Mandarin Chinese to help you gain a new perspective on the language and culture.
Building on your beginner’s level foundations (studied through our Mandarin Chinese for Beginners Diploma Course or independently), you’ll learn a diverse range of new words – preparing yourself for more interesting, meaningful conversations.
Through the use of everyday situations and by encouraging learning by forming associations, this intermediate course covers the grammar and vocabulary requirements for HSK Level 3 (which is equivalent to A2-B1 Level in the Common European Framework of Reference). By mastering the most commonly used words in the Chinese language included in this course, you’ll be able to converse fluently with Chinese speakers.
