This course is designed to meet the requirements of ILS courses laid down by UK Resus Council guidelines and is certified by ProTrainings. This CPD course meets the criteria for the General Dental Council’s development outcomes C.

The aim is to train healthcare personnel in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, simple airway management, and safe defibrillation, enabling them to manage patients in cardiac arrest until the arrival of a cardiac arrest team and participate as members of that team. The course is one day long and consists of lectures and practical sessions.

The aim is to train healthcare personnel in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, simple airway management and safe defibrillation, enabling them to manage patients in cardiac arrest until the arrival of a cardiac arrest team and to participate as members of that team. The course is run over one day and consists of lectures and practical sessions.

ProTrainings Basic Life Support courses have been designed to meet all the required learning outcomes and are aligned to the Skills for Health UK Core Skills Training Framework or UK-CSTF. This includes both level 2 adult and paediatric patient care. The course is also Skills for Care Endorsed and follows the requirements set out in the Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines for adult and Paediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) basic life support (BLS).

All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements.

We are soon launching an online Immediate Life Support (ILS) course and a blended option and an Advanced Life Support course, again as a video online, blended and classroom.

This course is designed to meet the requirements of ILS courses laid down by UK Resus Council guidelines and is certified by ProTrainings. This CPD course meets the criteria for the General Dental Council’s development outcomes C. you will receive an online certificate for completion and also the employer/agent can email us to verify the training for online purposes. It does not say that it is an online course but when you complete a practical module the certificate reflects this.
