Homeopathic medicine is a natural pharmaceutical science that uses various plants, minerals or animals in very small dose to stimulate the sick person’s natural defenses. According to MD Kathleen Fry, “It is different from conventional herbal or naturopathic medicine, it is a form of alternative, vibrational healing that stimulates the body’s ability to heal itself without drugs by strengthening the Vital Force. The Vital Forces is the unseen, energetic power that guides every physiologic function of living beings.”

The goal of homeopathic treatment for any ailment is to assist the Vital Force to achieve optimal health. The lack of disease symptoms reflects this healthy state. All symptoms are simply a communication from the vital force signaling the need for assistance. As a result, headaches serve a function. The cornerstone of treatment is determining which remedy the vital force is demanding and then taking that remedy for as long as necessary. Homeopathic doctors believe that by addressing the underlying cause of headaches or any other condition, their remedies can successfully support a return to health. There is no need to continue taking a remedy once this return to health is attained unless a new set of symptoms emerges.
