Description

Plan, Develop and Manage Human Resource for a Online Project Training

  • Project HUMAN RESOURCE management involves organizing and managing a project team. The team is usually made up of people with specific skills and responsibilities. The project team, also known as project staff, should be involved in plans and decision making from the beginning of the project.
Project Human Resource Management includes the processes required to make the most effective use of the people involved with the project.
  • The project management team, also called the core, executive, or leadership team, is responsible for project planning, controlling, and closing and takes directives from the project team. Smaller project responsibilities can be shared by the team or designated by the project manager. The project management team and the project sponsor work together to secure funding, simplify scope questions, and influencing team members.
  • Project human resource management processes include human resource planning, acquiring the project team, developing the project team and managing the team. Processes are used multiple times, usually occurring at least once in a project or several times in different phases if the project is made up of many phases. – In reality, processes intersect with each other and with other phases and are not as definite and concrete as illustrated here. Project human resource management planning may be required if more experienced members are added to the team. The project management team should also prepare for risk management and changes to project duration. This term is defined in the 3rd and the 4th edition of the PMBOK.
  • Project Human Resource Management includes the processes required to make the most effective use of the people involved with the project. It includes the entire project

  3. Staff Acquisition—getting the human resources needed assigned to and
  4. Working on the project.
  5. Team Development—developing individual and group skills to enhance
  6. Project performance
  • These processes interact with each other and with the processes in the other knowledge areas as well. Each process may involve effort from one or more individuals or groups of individuals based on the needs of the project. Although the processes are presented here as discrete elements with well-defined interfaces, in practice they may overlap and interact in different ways.
  • There is a substantial body of literature about dealing with people in an operational, ongoing context. Some of the many topics include:
    • Leading, communicating and negotiating.
    • Delegating, motivating, coaching, mentoring and other subjects related to dealing with individuals

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
