Advanced horse health and welfare explore equine nutrition, preventive medicine concepts, vaccinations awareness, and common diseases and disorders. This section emphasises welfare-focused care and the importance of early identification and professional referral.
Equine behaviour and training examine natural horse behaviour, learning principles, and training approaches, alongside safe and ethical human-horse interaction. Stable management and operation focus on stable design, housing, bedding, hygiene, and record-keeping practices that support horse wellbeing and operational efficiency.
Advanced riding and handling techniques explore riding awareness, safe handling, exercise planning, and preparation concepts related to competitions, without providing professional riding certification.
Equine breeding and genetics introduce reproductive fundamentals, genetic principles, and foal management considerations, with emphasis on ethical breeding and welfare responsibilities.
Equine business and management explore establishing an equine enterprise, financial management, and legal and ethical considerations relevant to horse care settings. Research and development in equine care introduce advances in equine medicine, case studies, and applied learning examples.
