Lecture 3 examines the medieval and Tudor periods, including the Middle Ages, the Wars of the Roses, and Tudor England. This lecture explores power, religion, monarchy, and social change during a formative period in UK history.
Lecture 4 explores the Stuart and Georgian eras, focusing on the English Civil War, the Glorious Revolution, and Georgian Britain. Learners examine political conflict, constitutional change, and the development of parliamentary governance.
Lecture 5 focuses on the Industrial Revolution and modern times, covering industrialisation, Victorian Britain, and the impact of the World Wars. This lecture examines economic change, social transformation, and global conflict.
Lecture 6 explores contemporary UK history, including post-war Britain, late 20th-century and 21st-century developments, and current historical challenges. Learners gain perspective on how recent history continues to influence modern society.
Lecture 7 introduces a research project, guiding learners through choosing a historical topic, conducting research, and writing a structured research paper. This lecture strengthens independent study and academic writing skills.
Assessment includes a final exam to evaluate understanding of history concepts, periods, and analytical approaches.

Upon successful completion of the History Fundamentals Level 3 course, learners will receive a free digital certificate provided by Reed confirming their achievement and skill mastery. After obtaining the Reed certificate, learners will also receive a provider-issued course completion certificate, subject to verification of the Reed certificate.
