Description
The Level 3 course delivers comprehensive training in HACCP, focusing on leadership and management responsibilities within food safety systems. This HACCP Level 3 course begins with a detailed introduction to HACCP and its legal importance under UK food safety legislation.
Learners will examine food safety hazards, including biological, chemical, physical, and allergenic risks, within a HACCP framework. The Level 3 course explains how to plan and create a robust HACCP system that meets regulatory and operational requirements.
Each of the seven HACCP principles is explored in depth, enabling learners to apply hazard analysis, establish critical control points, set critical limits, monitor performance, take corrective action, verify effectiveness, and maintain accurate documentation.
The Level 3 course also covers implementing and reviewing a HACCP system and explores HACCP alternatives where appropriate. On completion, learners will have the knowledge and confidence to lead HACCP systems, support inspections, and ensure continuous food safety improvement.
