This course is for anyone wishing to gain a GCSE in maths and is suitable both for returning learners and those engaging with maths for the first time.
The course has been created to help students overcome any fears they may have about maths and any lack of self confidence. In fact, the course creates success by focusing on increasing the confidence of learners.
Please note, you will need to arrange your own exams with an exam centre. The exam centre will charge a fee; this should be in the range of £80 - 120, depending on the exam centre. Most schools and colleges are happy to take private candidates for the exams.
Please also note that our current course is based on the old IGCSE Maths syllabus from EDEXCEL. The last exam for these course is January 2018. You should book your exam with an exam centre for this time.
If you do not sit your exam in January 2018 and wish to sit the exam in May/June 2018, please notify us in mid-January and we will transfer you on to the new course.

Hi i was wondering if it is still possible to enrol on this course, it says you could take the exam in may or July? is this still possible
Hi The exams are on 24th of May and 7th of June. There is still time. You usually need to give exam centres at least 3 months notice so they may charge a bit more to sit the exam. If you go inside a month they will charge you even more. Regards Absorb Student Support TeamThis was helpful. Thank you for your feedback.
