Basic Anti-Wrinkle Course
Anti-Wrinkle injections are one of the most popular cosmetic treatments in the world and is in high demand. Anti-Wrinkle injections work by blocking the nerve signals to certain muscles. The muscles then become more relaxed, this reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the skin. The substance freezes muscle movement by blocking neurotransmitters and this effect lasts for 6-8 months, once you’ve had it injected, the effects on the muscles usually become apparent within a few hours, with the main effects appearing after about a week.
And while it is immensely popular for aesthetic purposes, they are actually pretty handy for other conditions too, including stopping excessive sweat (Hyperhidrosis).
In the basic anti-wrinkle course we train our delegates to inject safely and competently in the three most common areas of the face that are affected by fine lines and wrinkles. This course covers the most popular and widely sought after anti-wrinkle treatment areas.
Our Botox and Fillers courses are CPD and IPHM accredited.
Candidates are required to complete online modules before attending a practical day where they will carry out botox and filler injections under supervision. The online courses have been developed by our in-house team with extensive research supplemented with theory and video components to give you the best educational platform at home. This part of your aesthetic training will cover an intensive level of theory; anatomy, consultation and examination, anaesthesia, facial mapping and techniques. The aim is to familiarise yourself with the new terminology in advance of the practical day.

What is a ‘regulated qualification’?
A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.
What is an ‘endorsed’ course?
An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body’s logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
