Our Book-keeping Award with AAT Qualification is a great building block for your career in accounting or office management, and your AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping looks great on your CV.
Book-keeping Level 2 – Module 1: This covers many areas of manual book-keeping including the double-entry system; the basics of VAT; checking invoices for accuracy; day books; general, purchase and sales ledgers; petty cash books and balancing ledger accounts.
Book-keeping Level 2 – Module 2: This covers bank reconciliation; sales and purchase ledger control accounts; accounting for bad debt; correcting errors; preparing statements of account; reconciliation of statements of account; paying invoices, and using information from the double-entry system to prepare a VAT return.
Book-keeping Level 2 – Module 3: This includes preparing a trial balance from the ledger accounts; using the journal to start up a new set of double entry accounts; bad debts the suspense account; extending the trial balance; calculating profit or loss; preparing a profit and loss account and balance sheet; closing of the ledger accounts and preparing the financial statements of a business.
