Description

Your training and assessment will cover these learning outcomes, each of which is covered in depth by your trainer and supported with a full colour reference book to take away for further reference in your food establishment:

  • Understand how individuals can take personal responsibility for food safety within a catering environment.
  • Understand the importance of maintaining personal health and hygiene in a catering environment.
  • Know how the working areas are kept clean and hygienic within the catering environment.
  • Know how to keep food safe within a catering environment.

After the days training you will be assessed by a multiple choice questions exam paper.

Awarding Organisation is QNUK.

Who is this course for?

This qualification is aimed at those working in the preparation, cooking and serving of food. The award is recognised by E.H.O's.

Requirements

It is recommended that learners have a minimum of Level 1 literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

Learners should be at least 14 years old in order to undertake the qualification.

There are no other pre-requisites for this qualification.
