Wesley asked:

What is the difference between the CISI risk in financial services and the CISI global compliance?

Dear Wesley, While CISI Risk in Financial Services covers practical aspects of risk management in a financial services business, CISI Global Compliance is focused on international trends in compliance pertinent to a globally operating financial business.

Queen Blankson asked:

How much is the exam as I can see that it’s separate.

Answer:

Dear Queen, Please refer to the CISI website for the examination fee as it depends on what exam exactly you intend to take.

Aravind asked:

Does it include the exam fee and certification

Answer:

Thank you for your question. The cost does include LGCA mock exam and certification, however, any CISI fees are excluded.

This was helpful. Thank you for your feedback.
Olo asked:

Please, is this a relevant entry level qualification for KYC/CDD or is there another CISI approved course for that? Thank you

Answer:

Dear Olo, While the CISI Global Financial Compliance is the right entry-level qualification for compliance, you may also want to look at IGCA Certificate in KYC & CDD which is a more specific entry-level international qualification offered by LGCA.

This was helpful. Thank you for your feedback.
Wesley asked:

At the end of this course is there an exam and mock exam? Is this course FCA compliant? Can use for job in banks/insurance? also add to my CV?

Answer:

Hello Wesley! The course is, in essence, an overview of financial compliance from a global perspective, and you can certainly enhance your CV with it (in addition, you'll also be able to share your Certificate of Completion on LinkedIn). At the end of the course, there are both a final test and a mock exam.

FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
