This online course is ideally suited to non-financial managers and self-employed business owners who do not have a background in finance but want to understand the planning, organisation and control of their organisation's financial resources and activities.

Description

This online professional development course consists of four units which will provide you a practical insight into the core principles of business finance and day-to-day financial management. Each unit will require approximately 5 hours of study.

You will cover the basic costing concepts and their application, the significance of budgeting in planning, controlling and performance monitoring, investment appraisal and decision -making and understanding and interpreting financial statements.

After successfully completing all four units you will be awarded with an E-certificate of Completion from the University of Derby and will also gain a digital badge for each unit that you complete, recognising your efforts for each stage of the course.
