Description
You’ll begin by exploring the fundamentals of facility security in the Saudi context, including relevant laws and the role of physical protection in business continuity. Next, you’ll design and manage access-control and visitor-management systems using mechanical, electronic, biometric, and smart-card technologies. Module 3 deepens your understanding of perimeter defences, surveillance placement, and patrol strategies, while Module 4 guides you through threat and risk assessments—identifying insider risks, terrorism threats, and environmental hazards.
Module 5 equips you to lead emergency response and crisis-management teams, plan efficient evacuations and coordinate with civil defence. In Module 6, you’ll evaluate security equipment—CCTV, motion sensors, alarms and smart surveillance—and establish maintenance schedules. Module 7 focuses on creating robust SOPs, embedding a security-first culture, and conducting audits to maintain compliance. Finally, Module 8 addresses the convergence of physical and cyber risk, teaching you to secure access systems against hacking, enforce PDPL-compliant data practices, and align with NCA cyber-physical controls.
