Waste management can best be described as the collection, storage and disposal of waste. There is onus on every human to dispose waste correctly, whether an individual or organisation.

The most important reason for waste management is to protect the environment and the health of the population. Rubbish and waste can cause air and water pollution. Rotting waste is also known to produce harmful gases that mix with the air and can cause breathing problems in people.

What does study method mean?

What is an ‘endorsed’ course?

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body’s logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as ABC Awards and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
