Description

On completion of the course, students will gain the knowledge, skills and the mindset needed to navigate the complex landscape of environmental awareness and sustainability.

You will learn about the significance of environmental awareness and its impact in our world, covering the preservation of eco systems and biodiversity. We will also cover sustainable living, climate change, pollution awareness and the role of individuals in environmental conservation.

You will identify and examine some of the most pressing environmental concerns and challenges as well as explore their consequences, such as climate change, extreme weather and ecosystems disruptions.

We will learn about sustainable practices and conservation efforts that people can adopt as well as Eco-friendly lifestyle choices. You will also learn about the protection of natural habitats and wildlife conservation.

In order to complete the course, you must achieve 80% or more in the final multiple choice quiz.

You will earn 3 CPD points on completion of the course, this course will take around 3 hours to complete and the certificate will last for two years.

Units covered

  • Unit 1 - Introduction to Environmental Awareness - In the first unit we will cover why environmental awareness is important and its impact on our world. You will learn about the preservation of ecosystems and resource conservation, climate change and sustainable living and practices. You also learn about the role of individuals in environmental conservation.
  • Unit 2 - Key Environmental Issues - In this unit we will cover some of the most pressing environmental concerns and challenges, their consequences including climate change, pollution, habitat destruction and biodiversity.
  • Unit 3 - Sustainable Living and Conservation - In the third unit we will explore the urgency of sustainable practices such as reducing energy consumption and embracing renewable energy and conserving water. You will learn about conservation efforts and eco friendly lifestyle choices
  • Unit 4 - Global Engagement and Empowerment - In the final unit we will cover the importance of global engagement and the benefits of collaborative environmental efforts. You will learn about the importance of individual action and community initiatives.
