You will need to register on a full course which is available from us or our sister company ITG Instructor Training who offer the Award in Education and Training level 3 at our Training Centre in Colchester Essex or onsite for larger groups. It is also offered as a distance/blended course where you can complete this course and you will have access to a virtual learning environment to complete the rest of your study. You will then attend one day in the classroom to complete your micro teach presentation and observe and give peer reports on others. This course is also a useful tool if you are studying with any other Awarding Body.

The full Award in Education and Training qualification satisfy the government requirement for teachers, trainers and tutors who need an initial award for their role as a teacher or trainer in the lifelong learning sector or those who want to teach in a Further Education College, Adult Learning Environment or be a trainer for a Learning Provider.

The course aim of this award is for those who are or want to be a teacher, tutor or trainer and need to be able to plan, prepare and provide learning for their specialist area.

All entrants need to have the personal and intellectual abilities to acquire the knowledge and understand the skills needed to gain this award. All entrants must be able to read effectively and communicate clearly and accurately in written and spoken standard English and have relevant qualifications within their own area of expertise.

Anyone can take this online course but for the full Award in Education and Training, the minimum age is 19 years old and completing our full Award in Education and Training qualifications, allow you to offer some of our ProTrainings classroom courses. When you complete the full course it also allows learners to commence their professional development within the teaching profession.

The content of this and all our courses have been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence-Based Learning statement.

The course is divided into categories and in each category, there are a number of videos. You can pause and watch again any video on the course. We update our courses regularly and you will be able to see the replacement and new videos as they are released.
