Description
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training will give you the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills needed to confirm occupational competence in the lifelong learning sector. The qualification is an essential introduction for anyone wanting to work and teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector. It is the ideal award for those with no previous teaching experience or qualifications, as well as those already working in the sector who would like to gain an official qualification.
The guided learning hours for this qualification is 48-61 hours. As the course is all on-line, students study completely at their own pace, however from the date that you enrol you will have 3 months as a course expiry date. Students are required to perform a Micro Teach session as part of the course. You will need to draw up a lesson plan and use Skype to demonstrate the 15-30 minutes session. Alternatively you may record your Micro Teach and submit your audio-visual recording via Drop Box or via WeTransfer.
Who is this course for?
This course can be delivered internationally, we have extensive quality assurance systems, and all our courses delivered overseas are subject to the same standards as those taught within the UK. The micro-teach session required as part of the course criteria must be complete as a recorded session and sent via Drop box or sent to us via WeTransfer.
You will also have daily access to our tutor support team here in the UK, they are available, Monday to Friday via email and telephone.
