This dyspraxia awareness course will go into detail about how dyspraxia, directly and indirectly, affects different areas of life, with a focus on school life in particular, making recommendations for improved methods of support. You will also learn about the processes for treatment and support.

You will also learn about the possible causes for dyspraxia, UK statistics and the common misconceptions about dyspraxia. You will also explore how dyspraxia can affect different areas of life, including school, social life, work and mental health.

You will move onto looking at techniques parents, families, teachers and teaching assistants can use when working or living with a child with dyspraxia. The role of different professionals that may be involved in the child’s plan of care will be outlined too.

In order to complete the course, you must achieve 80% or more in the final multiple choice quiz.

You will earn 3 CPD points on completion of the course, this course will take around 3 hours to complete and the certificate will last for two years.
