This Diploma in Water Chemistry – Level 4 has been developed to help you learn all about water chemistry in great detail. This course will study the impact of water on various elements in other ecosystems and how their collaboration affect water and the quality of water. Our tutors will also show to how to identify and qualify properties and chemical compounds in water samples and hence, will mold you into a skilled professional to get into or progress within water treatment, environmental science, environmental engineering or water chlorination related careers.
This diploma course will first enlighten you about the nature of water and its unique properties as opposed to other elements in nature. You will then get to review the molecules that form water, followed by an insight into the commonly found water chemistry. This course also dedicates a few modules that will delve into topics such as hard water, alkalinity inorganic chemical, metalloid and many more.
Our tutors will also focus on concepts such as chemical monitoring and water treatment principles that will come in handy for your career. This course also takes it a step further by teaching you about the chemical hygiene plan and laboratory safety to help you ensure a safe working environment. By the end of this course, you will have an outstanding knowledge on water chemistry to use it appropriately in your career.
The course has been endorsed under the ABC Awards and Certa Awards Quality Licence Scheme. This means that Global Edulink* has undergone an external quality check to ensure that the organisation and the courses it offers, meet defined quality criteria. The completion of this course alone does not lead to a regulated qualification* but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills gained. The Learner Unit Summary may be used as evidence towards Recognition of Prior Learning if you wish to progress your studies in this subject. To this end the learning outcomes of the course have been benchmarked at Level 2 against level descriptors published by Ofqual, to indicate the depth of study and level of demand/complexity involved in successful completion by the learner.
The course itself has been designed by Global Edulink* to meet specific learners’ and/or employers’ requirements which cannot be satisfied through current regulated qualifications.
