This Diploma in Collection System operator – level 4 has been developed to help you operate collection systems effectively to ensure its smooth performance. This esteemed certification will open up various employment and progression opportunities within the collection system operation industry and hence, is aimed at any individual aspiring to progress onto a collection system operator job position. All you need to enroll in this course is a recognized qualification at level 3 or above, and watch how this course equips you with the necessary knowledge and skills needed to get into the industry.

This course will provide insights into wastewater collection by educating you on gravity sanitary sewers, flow monitoring, flow capacity, flow infiltration and inflow and dye testing. You will get to learn about low pressure system and its operation, followed by modules that will adequately cover the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit programme. The wastewater collection rules and regulations and the summary of clean water act will also be duly discussed through this course to enlighten you on the legal aspects of the collection system.

This course is a great opportunity for you to get your hands on the CMOM program, along with its elements and audits. This course will also provide you with the opportunity to learn about the confined space entry programme, permit and its duties and responsibilities. By the end of this course, you will have a great grip on collection system operation to make significant progress within the industry.

Method of Assessment

In order to complete the Diploma in Collection System Operator - Level 4 successfully, all students are required to complete a series of assignments. The completed assignments must be submitted via the online portal. Your instructor will review and evaluate your work and provide your feedback based on how well you have completed your assignments.
