Diploma in Care of the Senior Pets - Level 3

Just as humans, animals tend to grow old and require special attention as well. Therefore, South London College has put efforts on this Diploma in Care of Senior Pets – Level 3 to help your pets live the last few years in complete bliss. This training course is packed with intensive modules that will help you form a strong bond with your senior pets, and is the ideal course if you wish to get into or progress in the animal care or veterinary industry.

To support a senior pet, it is important to know when it reaches its old age. Therefore, this course will familiarise you with different pets and the ages they reach maturity. You will also get to understand the behavioural changes in senior pets, so that you can anticipate and pay special considerations for them.

Mobility and pain issues are common among senior pets. This guidance course will adequately cover these aspects of senior pet care, along with some advice on how to assist them during this challenging phase. This course will also address about cancer in senior pets to help you identify and treat it appropriately or to prepare you for the final goodbye when its time.
