Diabetes is a chronic condition associated with abnormally high levels of sugar (glucose) in the blood. Absence or insufficient production of insulin, or an inability of the body to properly use insulin causes diabetes.

This online Diabetes Awareness training course aims to develop knowledge of causes, signs and symptoms of diabetes, how to prevent them, as well as to understand how diabetes impacts a person's daily life, including driving, pregnancy, sex life, and emotional wellbeing.
