Supporting individuals with dementia and their families examines lived experiences, family and caregiver support, advocacy, empowerment, and legal and ethical considerations related to dementia care.
Professional development in dementia care focuses on continuing education, collaboration, emerging trends and innovations, and developing a personal and professional action plan.
The assessment and final exam evaluate learners’ understanding of dementia awareness, person-centred support principles, and ethical care considerations developed throughout the course.
